Chakra Yoga: Dr Deana Brooksher
The chakras are 7 energy centers that extend from the base of your spine to just over the top of your head. When prana (energy) flows through them easily your physical, emotional, and mental health all improve. When the chakras become blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms. Each of the chakras has its own distinct properties, but they work together as a whole. Meaning: if one of the chakras is out of balance, it can put the entire system out of whack. Yoga poses—along with meditation and pranayama practices—can help keep the chakras open.
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Yoga Nidra: Robin Workman
Yoga Nidra is often referred to as "yogic sleep," a state of being between sleep and consciousness that's conducive to deep emotional and physical healing, rewiring your brain, and self-exploration. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) - the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
8:30 am - 9:45 am
Kundalini: Meghann Brackett
This class is a holistic approach to yoga designed by Kia Miller, which has roots in the ancient Kundalini and Yogic traditions. These practices are designed to awaken each practitioner to their higher nature. They offer a potent combination for all levels of physical posture, breath work, kriya (specific sequences), meditation, and chanting. This practice will increase strength, build vitality, and create mental clarity.
